Built from 100% solid pine timber, it shares the same thoughtful, early-independence design as the rest of our timber bed range — a removable safety rail, low-profile floor bed conversion, and rounded child-safe edges — with a simpler, straight-lined frame that skips the scalloped base detail for a more minimalist look. Available in Single and Double, pre-finished in Natural Pine.

The Oliver Kids Bed offers a timeless, uncomplicated foundation for your child's room. Crafted from 100% solid pine timber, it features rounded corners for safety and a low-profile design that supports confidence and independence during the transition from cot to bed. A clean, straight-edged frame gives the Oliver a more minimalist silhouette than our scalloped-base styles, suiting bedrooms with a simpler, contemporary aesthetic.
Like the rest of our timber bed range, the Oliver includes a removable side rail that provides reassurance for younger toddlers and easily detaches as your child grows in confidence. The bed can also be converted into a floor bed by removing the legs, making it a natural fit for Montessori-style bedrooms or families wanting a ground-level sleep space. Available in Single and Double, the Oliver adapts to compact bedrooms, shared rooms, or growing families.

Timber & Finish Notes
The Oliver arrives pre-finished — no painting or staining needed before use. As a natural material, solid pine may show minor grain variation, knots, or subtle colour differences between boards; these are characteristic of genuine timber and do not affect strength or durability. If the finish becomes worn over time, the solid timber can be sanded and repainted with a quality interior paint to refresh its look.
Safe Sleep & Safety Information
Wall placement: Position the bed away from walls to prevent young children becoming trapped between the mattress and the wall.
Mattress: Use a firm mattress to minimise the risk of sleep-related accidents. Ensure a snug fit with no gaps.
Safety rail: Keep the safety rail fitted for younger children transitioning from a cot. Remove only once your child is confidently able to get in and out of bed independently.
Safety features: Rounded corners, smooth-sanded edges, all hardware fastened for structural integrity.
Maintenance: Check and tighten all bolts and screws periodically. Inspect timber surfaces for splinters and sand smooth if needed.

Refresh the finish: Beds arrive pre-finished, but the solid timber takes paint beautifully if you'd like to refresh the look as tastes change — use a quality interior paint.
