About The Apex Adventure Fort
The Apex Adventure Fort brings monkey bars, a swing, a timber climbing wall and two spider web climbing ropes together in one sturdy timber frame, built for kids who want to climb, swing and hang all in the one backyard session. A row of overhead monkey bars runs the length of the frame, a rope-hung swing seat gives classic back-and-forth fun, and a freestanding pull-up bar section offers bars at different heights for kids to grow into.
On the climbing side, a timber wall fitted with coloured climbing grips sits alongside two spider web rope nets for scaling, crawling through and building confidence on. Handles are fitted along the frame for extra grip points as children move between activities. It's designed as an active, multi-zone play fort that keeps kids moving between climbing, swinging and hanging.

Your Apex Adventure Fort is finished with a temporary water-based stain for storage and transport — this is not a permanent finish. We recommend painting before assembly, within 2-4 weeks of delivery, using Dulux 1 Step Prep (2 coats) followed by Dulux Weathershield exterior paint (2 coats), applied by brush for the best coverage. Timber is a natural material that continues to respond to its environment. Expect knots, grain variation and slight colour differences between pieces, and small seasonal gaps or cracks as the timber expands and contracts with humidity — this is normal and does not affect structural integrity. Assembly & Placement
The Apex Adventure Fort is a DIY assembly product — follow the included instructions step-by-step. Install on level ground with a suitable base such as timber sleepers or a concrete slab, and allow for adequate clear space around the frame. When assembling, tighten screws until snug and secure without overtightening, as overtightening is the leading cause of timber splitting. Ongoing Maintenance
Keep your Apex Adventure Fort safe and looking its best with regular care: clean with mild detergent and water, check fasteners and hardware every few months, and inspect ropes, climbing grips and swing fittings regularly for wear.
