Painting & Care Guide
Painting is strongly advised and required for warranty coverage. The structure is supplied with a natural timber stain that provides minimal protection only. Paint before assembly for best coverage.
Recommended process: Apply minimum 2 coats of quality primer/sealer/undercoat, then minimum 2 coats of exterior-grade paint. Use a brush for better coverage on all surfaces including edges and corners.
Metal bars: Can be painted or left as-is. If painting, follow paint manufacturer instructions for metal surface preparation.
Ongoing care: Inspect and tighten all hardware regularly. Touch up paint as needed. Timber may develop minor cracks over time due to natural expansion — this is normal and does not affect structural integrity.
